England - North York Moors

The high rainfall in the Lake District ensures the lovely green hills and moss covered rocks behind us. The woodland has lots of red squirrels if you are lucky enough to spot them. They say that local settlers and Norsemen resisted invasion from the Normans in a fierce battle near Crummock Water.
